Godwin Pumps® Appoints
Risk Manager, Safety Administrator
(BRIDGEPORT,
NJ — April 8, 2008) In an effort to
secure the safety of its Great
People and the reputation of its
Great Pumps, Godwin Pumps, the
largest manufacturer of portable
rental pumps in the United States
with 24 branch offices and a network
of over 100 distributors worldwide,
recently appointed a Risk Manager
and Safety Administrator.
Timothy Glazar joins Godwin as its
Risk Manager. With a Juris Doctor
from Widener University (DE), Glazar
has over 20 years’ experience in due
diligence, risk management and
regulatory compliance, including
loss prevention and control in
industrial, manufacturing and
commercial facilities. These
experiences combine with Glazar’s
Bachelor of Science degree in
Geology (SUNY – Binghamton) and
Masters of Science degree in
Engineering Geology (Drexel
University) and his early experience
with environmental consulting and
water well drilling to give him keen
insight into the environments where
Godwin’s pumps and people operate.
“We continue to incorporate best
business practices that will
solidify our standing as the world
leader in portable pump rentals,”
said Godwin president, John Paz.
“We were fortunate to find someone
with Tim’s qualifications and
experience, and anticipate that he
will take great strides in
fine-tuning our operations and field
services.”
Godwin Pumps also appointed Mike
Cable as its Environmental, Health &
Safety Specialist. In this new
role, Cable will work to establish
and/or implement safety regulations,
including training and auditing
programs at each Godwin location.
Cable earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in criminal justice from
Stanford University (CA) and has an
extensive background in safety, loss
control and risk management,
including training and certification
in a variety of O.S.H.A and New
Jersey state programs.
“Mike has experience running his
own business, working with and for
the Government and heading up a
plant environment. In addition, Mike
is a member of the United
Brotherhood of Carpenters and is a
Journeyman Carpenter Millwright,”
said Paz. “This means that not only
will Mike be applying theory to

with first-hand knowledge of those
people and environments we work for
and with.”
