Godwin Pumps Ltd. Expands Sales Team in UK

GLOUCESTERSHIRE, ENGLAND (12 August 2004) – Godwin Pumps Limited (GPL), manufacturer of a wide range of diesel engine driven pumps for use in the contractors, rental and fire pump sectors, recently announced the expansion of its sales team for the UK market to support its current distribution throughout the country.

The new team includes Charlotte Marsh of Redditch, Worcestershire, who supports depots of Godwin distributor SLD Pumps and its customer base in the Midlands; Clive Southerton of Reading, Berkshire, who provides support in the South of England; and Martin Dickson of Wirral, Merseyside, who provides support in the North.

“The new team brings to Godwin strong sales experience in the pump industry,” said Michael Stone, Managing Director, GPL. “The team’s diverse pump knowledge and familiarity with the UK market are proven assets to our distributor and its pump users.”

The newly formed team reports to John Miller, Sales Director, who oversees the company’s sales efforts both in the UK and the export markets of Europe and throughout the eastern hemisphere. John has been with GPL for 34 years, holding various positions in engineering and both the UK and Export sales departments before his promotion to Sales Director in 1995.
