General Description
To meet the needs of our customers by ensuring all Godwin pumping equipment and accessories are delivered or picked up in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Ensures equipment being delivered and/or picked up is loaded on the truck for safe over-the-road travel. Reviews all items being delivered or picked up with the customer to ensure completeness and accuracy. Performs daily visual inspections of delivery equipment and documents any service needs. Maintains current and accurate log books. Maintains mileage and fuel logs as required. Assists in the set-up of pumping equipment. Participates in a rotating after-hours emergency response on-call schedule.
Job Requirements
- Basic mechanical ability and working knowledge of diesel powered equipment
- Good sense of direction and ability to read a map
- Basic reading and mathematical skills
- Legible handwriting
- Ability to communicate clearly on a two-way radio transmitter
Physical Requirements
- Daily handling of pumps and pumping accessories
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds frequently on a daily basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and squat
- Ability to push and pull
- Ability to twist and reach over head
- Ability to grasp and squeeze
Licenses/Specialized Training
- Minimum of Class B Commercial Driver License; Class A preferred
- Hazmat endorsement Forklift certification
