General Description
To meet the needs of our customers by servicing and repairing Godwin pumping equipment in a safe and efficient manner at a Godwin facility or at the customers job site. Performs routine servicing on rental fleet equipment between each rental. Performs inspections of fleet equipment for possible damages and reports damages accordingly. Documents parts needed for servicing fleet. Tests all repaired equipment. Maintains Godwin vehicle fleet vehicles. Performs preventative maintenance on shop equipment as directed. Assists as needed in the delivery and set-up of Godwin pumping equipment. Participates in a rotating after-hours emergency response on-call schedule.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of engine repair; diesel preferred
- General knowledge of electrical wiring systems (230 and 460)
- Basic reading and mathematical skills
- Legible handwriting
- Ability to clearly communicate on a two-way radio transmitter
Physical Requirements
- Daily handling of pumps and pumping accessories
- Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds frequently on a daily basis
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and squat
- Ability to push and pull
- Ability to twist and reach overhead
- Ability to grasp and squeeze
Licenses/Specialized Training
- Drivers Medical Examiners Certificate
- Class A or B Commercial Drivers License (optional)
- Forklift Certification (preferred)
